Edgewater Park police were dispatched to the Fouite 130 at Pennypacker Drive at about 8:10 p.m. for the fatal crash, police said.
The victim's name was withheld pending notification of next of kin, Edgewater Park police said.
"The pedestrian was trying to beat the red light, It's very unfortunate," an Edgewater Park police spokesman said.
No summonses were issued, he said.
No other injuries were reported. The crash remains under investigation.
